To celebrate 50 years Phantom Duck, Italians make a new series that collects stories of the character until 2002. This is the series Paperinik – le origini del mito (Fandom Duck – The Beginning of Myth in Greek) which will have 57 issues of 204 pages each. (according to Induck s) Looks like the volumes will have a hard cover.

The first volume has been released since 29 August with the special price of 2.99 euros, as the main story is the classic first history of Phantom, «The Secret of the Valley of Roses». The frequency of the series will be weekly (with each volume costing 6,99 along with the newspaper of which it is offered) and the most interesting thing is that it will contain unpublished material, drawings and articles from Fabio Licari και Luca Boschi (άρθρα του οποίου έχουμε διαβάσει και σε άλλες σειρές).
Very ambitious project, I'd say.
