New stories from France
Last year publishing had taken out 4 volumes, 2 of which were translated into English by IDW. If you remember, in The Comic Con 3 Nicolas Keramidas, designer of Mickey Mouse’s Craziest Adventures, had attended as a guest. Below you are two pages from the facebook of designer Silvio Camboni with screenwriter Denis-Pierre Filippi. This is a version of Mickey's world where they use locomotives. In the second picture we see Professor Enigma and Professor Enigma Tiger! (Black Pete's cousin) Truly, drawing and coloring are impressive!!! So I look forward to the publication.
Even from the designer's facebook we have the following images that remind a more classic style. It is stated that we will soon have news of what this is about.
Finally we have two more images. The first is about Cafe Zombo by Loisel. As you may have noticed and you probably understood this comic book takes influence from the work of the legendary Floyd Gottfredson. The style reminds of Gottfredson's 30s. In the second picture again we have classic style but the design in a 3d phase. As far as I can see from the various pages the story reminds me of times when Donland, Mickey and Goofy were detectives (in Gottfredson's story) The Seven Ghosts) so personally I am interested.
It seems that the style the French use in their new stories is either classic or in some cases their own as in Craziest Adventures.
We expect all new publications with great interest.
