In December 2016 the Uncle Scrooge #21 was released in America, whose main story I confess left me stunned! And that was something I've been waiting for since I saw the wonderful cover of the issue.
History
First, screenwriters are Knut Nærum and Tormod Løkling and designer Arild Midthun, all three Norwegian origins. This 24-page story entitled The Substituute Santa of Strathbungo is an account of Uncle Scrooge and unfolds in Glasgow, when the silvery crusoe was still a small duck and sold peat, in order to make a living for him and his family.
It reminds you of Life and the State of Scrooge McDuck – The Last of the MacDuck Generation? There are some references to this episode of Live, since he remains loyal to the framework set up by Don Rosa!
Summary
History contains references to Vio, action, chase, twists, humor and emotion and a wonderful ending, while throughout its duration there is no point in not being emotionally charged!
In short, it is a story with excellent script and design, but also coloring, while I comfortably include it in the best I have ever read! If ever published in COMIX, it will be one of the best issues in the magazine! So we wait...
