We continue with criticism of this year's eighth volume of Library of Scarpa. The story scores are now given Gathered in the end together with an average 🙂
Stories
FBI agent: That's a nice story as much as a script. Reminds of his ten-page stories Uncle Carl With Donald's fragile skill. Very nice gang and the funniest thing is Donald's insistence on getting the new job done. In contrast, of course, with Barks' stories here the ending is good without the hero knowing. Donald did a bunch of feats without realizing it.
Bib-Bipp 15: I liked that story very much. For me, she and the next one with lentils beat for first place. We have a history with him. Beep Beep and Mickey full of twists, kidnappings and Black Pete To tear in the reins of evil. Once again we see Pete being ahead of everyone and having already devised a demonic plan to exploit Beep's innocent invention. I also liked it that it took Mickey a while to figure out what was going on. I love reading stories like that with Pete and Mickey. The coloring here was good and Beep wasn't properly colored. It's a great plan, and I liked the end that gives no room.
Babylon’s Lens: Another very strong story with a special form, that of flashback. The Molluscs A real threat that leaves no room for Scrooge. Scrooge of his love for lentils and his great greed loses control and makes a significant mistake. Is that believable? I'd say Scrooge is a character that once his arrogance, covetousness and greed can't let him think clearly and dominate. So since his bad parts are getting bigger, it's kind of logical to make mistakes. I like the way the Scarpa It satirizes advertising and stock exchange and also shows Scrooge's intelligence in business. The only thing that messed me up a little bit is the steep end to me. Well, that's different, but it kind of got me. I wanted one or two more pages with Scrooge and Morgulycus swapping one to two.
Total
I put a little less on the lentils because of the end but it's a diamond like Mickey's story. Very good volume and with wonderful stories and better paper quality than last year. I also liked the articles and they are well written. I think so far for me he's the best in the series. We've had a very strong start this year.
