What is the proper setting up of a magazine like COMIX?

Setting up a magazine is not easy. It requires it to have a structure in terms of pages, stories, covers etc.

The appropriate structure

The important thing is to know from the beginning what kind of magazine we have. When we talk about COMIX, a comic book magazine that, beyond stories, focuses on other things like articles, interviews and messages, you have to make it stand out from the rest of the publications and not only has dry stories. But rich material for story makers, so we can learn more. As for stories, it is good that their number is not too large and not the most tens. The ten page plays the role as a story to fill the issue. If we have three or four of these, then it goes... In the first issues we had a structure that entered a very long story and a ten - page or two - page, and a ten - page or two. As far as the number is concerned, I think 4-5 stories per issue are appropriate with the main one standing out and so the magazine has its own identity.

But what's more worth talking about stories? The variety, I'll answer. The more there is, the bored people learn more and more creators. In this way it does not narrow the margin for the stories to enter. We have seen this narrowness very markedly in COMIX since issue 19.

Tales that entered Mickey Mouse while they should be elsewhere...

Well... Mickey Mouse is a very good magazine, but the right magazine with analyses, interviews, and generally the most researched material is COMIX. Stories like Moby Dick and the Dark World we read in Issues 1 and 3 of the new COMIX respectively were where it should have been. But stories like the history parody of Mottura On the Road They entered Mickey Mouse while they should have had a more prominent position. Below You see, I think it would be the cover of this story. If he entered COMIX I put 2 options, it would be either:

Then we would talk about a piece of paper where it would have articles and beautiful and only two tenths that would fill out the issue. What else would anyone want? A very good story and 2 more for supplement. It wouldn't get tired and it would be a very beautiful result. This thing was done in the early issues of the New Period and that's why they didn't get tired.

Why are new creators worth it?

They deserve something fresh. New talents, which will eventually become classics, as in the case of Rosa. Creaters such as Castie, the Pattern, the Pastrovium They still have a lot to give. Their best stories should have a place in the magazine but also learn more about them through it. Already in Issues 1 to 17 stories of them have been entered. It would be good if the editor continued and brought them back into the future. How will people learn young people if they don't get to know them well through the magazine?
