Chainsaw Man – The film: Reze Arc Review
On October 21, I attended in fan screening of Chainsaw Man's film at Village Cinemas! I haven't seen a movie in 3D in years, so I was curious to see what the final result would be. Finally, it was very nice and «explosive» the view and below I quote my thoughts and experience in a small review.
The event
Fan screening took place before the official premiere and what impressed me was the almost full room, and even if it were daily. In general, I was impressed by the attention that the feeling gave the event. They gave it to everyone. «chainsaws» hats and photographs of professional photographers who were there in the wonderful stand outside the screening room. In our positions there was a paper, white bag with various goodies: an exclusive poster of the film, cards with characters and stickers with Pochita.
Manga's adaptation to film
I think that October for its release was that, being a spooky season etc., since the Chainsaw Man has this vibe. Initially, I'll mention that it's a sequel to the first season of anime Chainsaw Man and is an adaptation to his film format «Bomb Girl Arc» of manga. They did an excellent job adjusting, as we talk about 14 chapters, and the film was 100 minutes. This particular arc is almost self-contained, resulting in it being able to stand on its own without looking hasty. This gave Mappa time to add material which I must say made the film better than the manga.
It combined, however strange it may seem, romance, Greek tragedy, fighting and, in general, the whole setup was in Fujimoto's style, also reminiscent of the style of French film. There were many variations between species, which were visible at certain points, along with pre-economics about what would follow. Once again, you feel sorry for poor Denji, but I consider (for many reasons) that Reze stole the show. I won't mention any more, so I don't spill anything. We have nice after credits scene.
Animation & Music
The music, for me, really broke it! Great opening «Iris Out» The Kenshi Yonezu At first, which I had heard through Spotify Before I went to the movie screening. On the other hand, animation was just as strong and perhaps the best I've seen this year. It is strongly competing with the «Demon Slayer – Infinity Castle» And that is a great achievement, as well as there we have seen terrible things in this area. The great battle was very good, but it may have had some weariness, as it was much of the second half of the film. Nevertheless, he had strong and special choreography, with countless disasters and various shots. I loved the introduction, which was black and white, and I felt with the 3D effect like I was watching the manga live.

For the first time, Chainsaw Man makes his appearance on the big screen in an epic, action-filled adventure based on the extremely popular anime series. Denji worked as Devil Hunters for the mob, trying to repay the debt he inherited from his parents, until the mob betrayed him and killed him.
As he lost consciousness, Denji's favorite devil dog, Pochita, who had as his characteristic the chainsaw, made a deal with Denji and saved his life. This united the two, creating the unstoppable Chainsaw Man.
