Rurouni Kenshin (2023) Season 2
The Rurouni Kenshi anime remake, based on the same name manga, returns the 2024. The second season announcement «Kyoto Disturbance» was made in Jump Festa 2024 the specific arc (Kyoto Arc) is his biggest manga. Unfortunately, we don't have an exact release date yet.
It makes me very happy that the show continues so soon. This Because he'll probably make his appearance the manga's most important villain but also because I love remake. It was from my favorite anime in 2023 and I watched it every week. I quite like the design of the characters and think they generally did a good job modernizing the anime.
Trailer
In the teaser trailer we see some of the events of the first season and towards the end of Makoto Shishio and his followers (as shadows). As for the new characters, only the design of Makoto Shishio and Sojiro Seta has been revealed.
Remake's first season has 24 episodes with the first episode broadcast on July 6, 2023 and the latter on December 14. The quick announcement of the second season is something positive for the future of the series. I really hope it covers the whole manga.
