First of all, I'm glad I was waiting for Season II COMIX #80 to write this article. Reprints The Don Rosa It was something that the magazine occupied for five years. Now it looks like the worst case scenario... We have reprints of Barks' stories! So, Barks from the beginning and not just that... There are other important things.
Let's start by saying what else is going on with COMIX magazine and why it has ceased to be the magazine that its title suggests.
What's changed?
Below we have a series of bad changes that it has undergone in recent years:
1. Untranslated sound effects in all magazines now!
Now not only in COMIX but also in all publishing magazines if you have noticed there are no or are not translated into Greek the sound effects. This for the time that we live in I find it unacceptable when in earlier times it could be done and done.
2. Cutting historical columns like letters in syntax!
One of the ugliest things that happened at COMIX is cutting off some historical columns such as The Letters in Pension, something that was a trademark in the First Period and marked not only communication with readers but gave official answers to various questions.
3. There are no more articles!
While with Rossa's reprints the articles had only been reduced to 1 or 2, by COMIX #80 with the beginning of Barks' reprints THERE IS NO ARTICLE FOR A SAMPLE! This personally I would say is the worst thing that happened because the COMIX as a publication stood out for the articles and extra information it gave about creators and stories. There's no such thing anymore. So we're not talking about COMIX anymore, we're talking about an unknown magazine!
4. Reproduction
Rosa's reprints have been discussed many times, so I'm not going to mention it. Now for Barks' reprints, we'll have a word below. All I'm going to say here is that if there's a good reprint, they're going to be taken in moderation and have a secondary role, not a master. But Kathimerini doesn't know how to take measures.
5. Not a good choice of stories
They come in where reprints come in the options for complementary stories are mostly not good... And nothing else now enters the magazine of the top designers (as they call it) and creators of 3rd and 4th sorting or stories of old such as Vicar who have run out.
6. Bad paper
Unfortunately, the paper goes as far as it goes and worse over the years, which does not justify either price or content... Sometimes in the rest of publishing magazines there's bad cut and sketches in the issues...
New Reprint Round
We were talking after Rosa's reprints what are they gonna put in COMIX magazine? At the beginning with issues 78 and 79 it seemed to follow the pattern of the First Period COMIX after 200. I mean, ten-pages the main issue and maybe sometimes some flash. But...

COMIX Advertising #81
We had made choices but eventually something worse happened than that. Barks is back in, which means we have reprints of his stories and they have the central role. This was seen from COMIX #80 (which even the cover is exactly the same as COMIX #10 of the First Period) but also from COMIX #81 where central history will be The Many Faces of Magica De Spell...what's funny about Forbidden Valley is that the story entered as central to Volume 13 of the Barks Library, with its title showing on the cover and its own cover.
And all this happens while All Barks entered into Large Disney Library completed in 2016 and still exists ATHONE Bookshops with volumes having a good price. So younger readers can find them. The volumes have such extra material that it will never enter today's COMIX! Don't forget that the articles and presentations have been repealed! So everything has its limits.
The following is the text that the publishing for COMIX describes is even more grotesque now...

Summary
COMIX HAS HIS IDENTITYNo longer an excuse, his downturn has no end culminating in the deletion of the articles and Barks' reprints from COMIX #80. You can't do COMIX without articles and presentations! These stood out from the rest of the magazines, making it a small encyclopedia for Disney comic books. It's a real shame because all that's left is to take out the sign (no title anymore) and be called Super Mickey 2 or Ultra Mickey. Oh, yes, I forgot. It can take out the contents and become like the Library of Scarpa That he doesn't have. There's nothing left.
Super Mickey and COMIX are no different now and the stories that come in are from the same sources. Without the column of letters, articles and presentations, the good stories are exactly the same. What do I mean? That version It no longer makes sense of existenceIt's a tough thing to say, but after all this, I don't see a return. Personally, I think it'll be one of the magazines that will be cut in the future if the publications last. I'm going to say something that might not like it, but when it starts, it's usually not a good sign... There should be a 180-degree turn and a terrifying improvement. But all of this, you know, takes a lot of love like we've said before.
You can see the Fant0mDuck video for COMIX Which is very nice and more detailed.
