Stories

The Mystery of Tapioka St’:Mystery, action, nice gang. The second part had the action and the first had the mystery and we wondered who Tapiokas was and where the creator was going. In other words, history was gradually being built in the first while in the second the various mysteries are solved, we face the evil of the whole case. I generally liked both the design and the script. Fair enough, Scarpa is considered very important to Mickey's world. History shows he knows how to handle our favorite mouse. For me personally, it's the best story in the volume.

The Amundsen Keeper:Well, Scrooge would have a collection of charms. I didn't expect it, but he has the most powerful lucky charm that's his lucky penny. The design was beautiful with quite nice frames depicting nature. I liked it a lot in different phases, but the script wasn't great.

The Microcosm Boat:Nice story about something different. Coloring sours because it is old and beats it badly but the script also has several facilities. The Microcosm yes gives solutions and is the center for exploring history but I still believe that some things have become too easy. Pete's plan might have been perfect for once. Hero Design is very good here too.

Champion of Champions:Starring Guffy who becomes as the champion title says. The villain of history is a "new" face and seemed unstoppable. He did everything to achieve his plan and take his revenge. We have some more extreme situations in some frame that today I don't think we'd see.

I think it's obvious that Tapiokas stands out of all the stories. I liked that there was also a big article beyond the quote for this particular story because it was worth it. I still believe that the article onRomano Scarpabut the rest of the single pages on the stories were also informative. The volume is a very good start to introduce to Scarpa's work. We have at the end and 3 unpublished single-page stories (with old coloring) from the magazineWalt Disney’s Mickey MouseWhich isn't bad, so you finish the volume nicely.
