Mickey Mouse: Mickey Maltese!
Augustus is getting very powerful into Mickey Mouse! The first issue closes the last part of the Third Black Thunder – Nemesis episode with which the magazine had dealt in July. But what stands out this month is parody «Mickey Maltese» from his pen Giorgio Kavacano! This is a parody of his character Hugo Pratt, Corto Maltese and more specifically its first history «The Ballad of the Almyri Sea» . In our Mickey Mouse the story is entitled «The Song of the Almy Sea» and is 80 pages divided into 2 parts. He's going into Mickey Mouse #322 and #323.
Some details about the story
For this particular story Kavacano himself had told during his 2017 award that this is the best story he has planned in the 50 years (then) of his career! And to point out that the screenwriter of the story is Bruno Enna who, as we've said before with Francesco Artibani, are considered top of modern Italian school. So since we have a combination of Cavatsano and Enna, we believe the final result will be very strong. We're still very lucky as the second part of Mickey Mouse's story #323 will have as its cover its alternate cover Topolino #3197 in which the first part of the story entered. The regular cover It enters #322 and we will enjoy both covers.

The last issue of the month has a cover that does not correspond to any central history. So we can't know what's going to happen...
Another strong month for Mickey Mouse. I can't wait to read the parody and I think Corto's fans will find it interesting. And so another story of Top 10 (which we created three years ago), published in our country. We have to make a new one.
