In Italy, to celebrate Mickey's 90 years, they made up several stories. Interesting looks the story series Alla ricerca di Topolino (Looking for Mickey Mouse in Greek). This is about eight total stories whose script is from the talented Francesco Artibani And each of them has a different designer. Below are the first pages of 5 of the 8 stories we have information about so far.

  • The first story is from his pennies Giorgio Kavacano, entitled The Box of Memories (la scatola dei ricordi) In which the main protagonists are Mickey, Goofy, Inspector O’HaraProfessor Enigma, Black Ghost, Rich and John Handcuff.
  • The second, The Mystery of Luna Park (Il Mistero del luna park) , which is also dedicated to Mickey and Minny is from Marco Gervasio.
  • The third episode, The Treasure in the Old Tree (Il tesoro nell’albero vecchio) He's with Mickey and Pluto from Andrea Freckero's pen.
  • Rutmore Mountain Heroes (G)li eroi di Monte Rattmore) is a story about Mickey and Mickey Donald in a Marco Macarello project.
  • The fifth story is entitled Time’s Source (La sorgente del tempo) and is designed by Stefano Indini. So who is more suitable than the adventurous Scrooge McDuck to lead Mickey to this exploration?

As for the rest we know that (according to Artibani) will be designed by Claudio Sciarrone, Lorenzo Pastrovicio And Corrado Mastadoono. And apparently from the above images he will have Mickey in separate stories with Eta Beta, Flip, Horatio, Clarabelle and another story with the Black Ghost and Inspector O'Hara.

The above two pictures with the covers have been taken from the videos they have created where each creator speaks about his story and Mickey, shows the design process but also shows several panels of each story each time. It's something like what we say backstage, that's why they have the title "Behind the Strips."

According to the English volume which will be released on June 25, 2019, Mickey suffers amnesia and his close friends through various adventures try to remind him of who he is and what it represents!

That's a great idea. Mickey stars in various stories with other known characters. I'm curious to read the story with Uncle Scrooge. In general it looks like a pretty good anniversary show. It's something different.
