Since summer we know that Dark Horse is going to make autonomous volumes for Disney parodies. The two volumes we knew until a few days ago were the ones with the stories. Treasure Island (Micky Mouse #145 – 147 Season II) and Moby Dick. (COMIX #1 Season II) available from 20 November and 11 December respectively. Personally, I really like this move because it's one thing to have stories like that worth volumes and issues.

We have recently seen that in Amazon Another new volume entered. It will contain Don Quixote's parody designed by Claudio Sciarrone. Below is the summary of the story from Amazon.

A knightly knight and the power of his imagination finds reality in this adaptation of Miguel de Cervantes' classic novel where Guffy and Mickey Mouse.

Goofy is a nervous comic store manager who doesn't care about the fantastic stories in the comic books he sells. Mickey, on the other hand, is a willing, enthusiastic store owner who enjoys every new release. When a comic box accidentally falls on Goofy's head, he wakes up with a case of literary possession – taking the personality of the wandering knight Don Quixote of Castile! Worried about his friend's mental health, Mickey accepts Guffy's new identity and takes his place as his follower, Sanchito Mouse! For Don Gufotis, although the line between imagination and reality is blurred, he will not let anything escape his divided eyes and fight criminals, giants and beasts. But there's something more threatening hiding under the town of Goofy and Mickey... Something far from fiction and beyond their dreams. Will Don Gufotis and Sanchito Mouse actually find a way back in time to save the day?

The above volume is released on 19 March 2019. Unexpected move by Dark Horse but I think they made a very nice choice and I hope to see many parodies in English... However, here in our publications for a long time I have seen indifferent things so it is good that others try and see remarkable things beyond Italian publications.
