Western history with a very nice design from Scarpa and some very nice frame. A classic story in Far West I would say with a clever cowboy Mickey who brought it beautifully to thieves but generally there was the whole climate of fighting, robbery, ambushes that one expects to read in these stories.
Wonderful coloring and beautifully designed Gastone! Enjoying watching him turn into Donald. You sympathize with his condition. The frame with Donald hugged was perfect, but in the end, the repulsive character begins again. 😛
Weak story scripted and boring. I didn't find her ugly, but I expected better.
Maybe the best story in the volume. She and the next are both very strong that I can't decide. You'll say this one has nice coloring. And you're not wrong. We're learning about Uncle Scrooge's past and his wonderful bets. Well, the whole Scrooge bankruptcy thing made me laugh too much. But Donald and his nephews brought her to the end. Of course, I was wondering where Jenny was so she could put him in his place... Nice script and plan. Especially some frame was very beautiful.
What to say about this wonderful story. Unfortunately, it didn't have good coloring, and when I read it, it boiled the place, but I still liked it a lot. The Mourgols end up doing a beautiful act and we see the most sensitive side of the harsh impact at the end. It kind of reminded me of Barks' gift.
I'd say it's the weakest story in the volume but I'm not as bored with Black Comet. I think it's close. The characters were well designed. I like the way Scarpa plans the Evil Queen and Snow White. Hallie black I found the coloring.
