Figure (192)

COMIX #26 with a republished history of Don Rosa, "The Wendigo War". The cover is the one that should have entered the first period's COMIX 143 and is on matt paper and not on glossy like COMIX #25. The structure of the issue It's exactly the same. with that of previous issues of 2016.

The twenty-sixth COMIX (as usual) has total, 7 stories. Let's go take a look at them.

The first story "The Wendigo War" It has 27 pages.

Summary:
Uncle Scrooge's factory in the forests of the North infects the forest more than he believes. So a well-known tribe of Indians with the help of the local animals decide to take the situation into their own hands.

But a sequel to the story of the legendary Carl Barks  By Rosa. The plan is very good and through history Rosa is trying to pass on ecological messages. (Of course I can't understand why history was divided into three parts...) And Barks' story did the same in a different way. Reading Barks' story again lately The country of the pygmy Indians, I must say that I eventually like the original story more. This does not mean that Rosa's story is not good and enjoyable but Barks had something in the design and script that won me the most. I also think that Rosa has given us more interesting stories about the Ducks. Another thing I wanted to stress is what Barks said in 1983 (and we can read it in 1 of the accompanying articles). " Fresh air, fresh water, quiet environment. We believe that everything belongs to us rightfully. And that was true a long time ago, before we destroyed them with our culture. " That's very wise!

For the above, I'll add one. 9/10.

The second story is "A Middle Duck of Limnoupoli".

Summary:
In vain Donald tries to find the "medium" duck of Limnoupoli to interview him. as every Lakeman has a talent for something.

Let us now catch the rest of the much inferior part of the issue that is the secondary stories. We start with the first third-rate story. Vikar's story has a beautiful design but has drawbacks in the script. He's trying to get through the message that we all have talent for something, as long as we find out, but he fails. Still, you can't have any person that Donald meets look talented at any time that doesn't matter or others excited about him... In some frames Vicar's plan is worse than usual. Especially the French fries frame.

We'll put on the plan mostly. 5,5/10.

Figure (193)

Before we go to the third story, let's first look at the second most interesting thing in the issue where Mickey Mouse advertising is. Will you just give me an interesting commercial? Yes, it is. Because it's not just advertising, it's Sylvia Jike's cartoon along with the new Mickey Mouse ad and it's titled This is Mickey Mouse.Personally, I loved it. It combines humor and irony in a beautiful way. Imagine we've come to think of advertising as more beautiful than stories.

The third story is "Blackout from the nimble dimension".

Summary:
A maniac alien leaves Mickey City for two days without power in order to enslave it.

Now let's get back to the little break we had before and go to Noel Van Horn's fifth-rate story. The plan once again found it terribly mediocre to evil at some points (especially the alien black mess). But what was a mess black was the script. One of the most meaningless and awful scenarios I've ever read... Where do I start? From the invalid alien who wanted to take control of the city? From Mickey's character that he acted like the alien was a real threat? Or from the message I'd like the story to pass but fails to pass? Without electricity residents cannot use technology (computers etc.). This will result in them escaping and seeing the joy of simple life and meeting their neighbor. Of course history may imply all this, but it's done in such a stupid way and without being the alien threat... Tragically bad story even about Super Mickey.

We'll use it. 3/10.

The fourth story is "Undisclosedly rich".

Summary:
A wealthy Lakeman decides to stay on a deserted island, leaving all his fortune to Donald.

Stories like this where Donald somehow becomes rich, but in the end he realizes that riches do not bring happiness, we have seen many times. So here the script has a lot of problems. For starters, let's just say it's kind of invalid the way Donald gets rich. Donald likes luxury, and other stories don't care particularly about the money he wastes when he's rich. Here he's cheap, he goes on a cruise, and instead of watching him sit in his hammock, he's working on the ship's schedule... Generally several contradictions with his character. Still turning the ship into a amusement park? I think it's too stupid even for our unfortunate duck.

That's a nice story I'm not telling, but we're going to. 5,5/10.

The third story is "The raid of the jammers".

Summary:
A famous band comes to Limnoupoli and the nephews make up various ways to enter the concert without paying a ticket.

History to fill the issue. (And she's not the only one we see) Moderate design while very simple is the plot of history. Well, Donald's the only person they hired as a guard at a concert? That sounds stupid to me.

One, 5/10 We'll put it on.

The sixth story is "Button to virtual reality".

Summary:
An invention of Cyrus accidentally ends up in Donald's hands resulting in him traveling to fantasy worlds.

From one Van Horn to another! I thought the story about Lufa's search was one of the most meaningless. Another story like that is here. I know William Van Horn has a burning sense of humor, and so on, but that story wasn't humorous, but even if we didn't read it, we'd see a difference... So he didn't have any substance and he didn't get away from the standard, nor does Donald screw up his wantlessly.

One 4,5/10 I think it's all right.

Seventh story is "The Archiver".

Summary:
Donald oversees an important document storage area in the "Cornel Kut Archive" that can judge even country relations.

We have Dann Gippes in the plan and Pashal Oste in the script. I'll start with Gypsy's plan that I find from good to medium. We're used to better design by Gippes in his old stories or stories like Scrooge I. Still my coloring seemed quite simple while he could be better. Let's go to the script side now. However, I find it somewhat exaggerated that some documents judge the relations of two countries or that if they are so important they are not supervised in a high-security building. But what I can do is that this story is a better click than all the previous ones we read in this issue. But this does not save the situation because the previous ones were either bad or terribly modest.

One 6/10 So for the story!

COMIX #26 falls enough and is just as bad as COMIX #23... Together with both issues I would call them comfortable the worst The whole New Series! We'll do the above. 5,5/10 as an issue. Full support for the issue from the story of Don Rosa. If there wasn't the story and we added another ten pages, we'd have something like Terzo's COMIX 260...

Does anyone remember? And maybe even much worse even than the Terzopoulos issue Because we have terrible mediocre stories to bad and a mess structure black! The truth is, I wasn't so disappointed in some issue of Terzopoulos.

A structure with 7 stories, of Rosa, Van Horn, Vicar, Rota (usually) and another two indifferent stories from designers such as Haymans, has been consolidated. For Italian stories still nothing. It's like they're saving them for next year! One more thing I can't digest is the back! I have in my Library the issues 1 - 18 with the nice red ridge and the letters having a normal size rather than being so big large and CHALLIA as if intended for a person who has 17 degrees astigmatism or nearsightedness! Because that's what issues look like from 19 onwards. Aesthetics the overall effect is very bad.

I think it's clear now that the lack of interest from the magazine staff, which is like they've got a robot or computer working on their issues! It's like the calendar is the plan of the stories that made the staff all year long and we see about 2017.

In the new issue of COMIX we will see again (for 9 time!) reprint history of Rosa "The guards of the lost library" as a main 28-page story. This story has been in the past COMIX 114 1997 and 2009 COMIX 3 Library. It's on Friday. 30 September. For the rest of the stories of the issue nothing is known but we will probably have as usual 7 stories and designers below average...
comix 0114

The cover of COMIX #114 in my opinion was better and that for a magazine as opposed to the new one we will see in the next issue...

According to the calendar the poster for the month of October (COMIX 28) is dedicated to history The Treasure of Crosus published in COMIX 190 The 2004 and COMIX 3 Library The 2009. Extremely recent history in all aspects that one can still find. But do you know what's most interesting about this cover we see in the diary? That it's exactly the same cover as that of COMIX 190! So far, the covers we saw in the new period were different and so you distinguished the news from the old issues. But this is where things change. What does that mean?

Too much Scandinavia has fallen into COMIX. I wonder if the Italian stories will be remembered again or what? They put in supplementary Scandinavians at least put something good on. So many unpublished ones exist according to Induck s...I'll say again that we're losing terrible Italian stories like this. Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. But I guess the new interesting story Dakenstein (Frankenstein parody with the Ducks) by Fabio Cheloni who comes out in November at Topolino and we'll be late to see her at COMIX...

Finally, COMIX continues the year Rosa with the twenty-sixth issue at the same levels as the worst issue of the series that is COMIX #23. Personally, both are probably the worst COMIX I've read since both periods! That's a bad year for the magazine. I feel like it's gonna end in 2016 and it's like I haven't read a good issue of COMIX. Mickey Mouse, on the other hand, is doing just fine and getting better. In issue 118 we will see Italian history Memory Shoes In a Fachini project and a script for talented Castie. A pretty interesting story while in COMIX we see Mickey's stories with Van Horn... Well...

Would you like to do a presentation where we have Top 10 worst issues of COMIX? You will be able to say in the comments if you agree with my list and also give your trial list!

What is your opinion, according to the above?
