Francesco D'Ippolito

Proposals for his signing Francesco D’Ippolito, in The Comic Con 2022 They're a little late. The truth is he doesn't have anything special design, and we can see that from his work. Here.. He has worked directly with Disney Italy, as well as Disney Publishing Worldwide. Overall he has produced 149 stories/ covers etc. In Greece, we have duly honored him, as of his 149 creations, we have seen 81.

His stories have been published in the journals of Terzopoulos (Donald, Mickey Mouse and Big Serial), after 2000 (so they are relatively easy) and are meant by Kathimerini (Miki Mouse). So we go to this post, which are the most important (to me) stories of this creator, which we have seen in Greece.

In Terzopoulos' magazines

  • Ducks in space: Gold dyspepsia I believe so. One of the creator's few full-fledged multi-pages. When first published in 2006, in four issues, the McDuck Starship was given together, also in four tracks. Later, it was published on the major series #10, along with the entire Starship. Today the Starship and the volume of the Great Searings are extremely difficult to find. I would advise you to look for the issues.
  • The dragon stick that's a story You should go to him.. Unfortunately, it is an anthology of many designers, so its role is limited to the seventh part, but we are talking about a two-volume, 568-page, Episode. The volume is still, not very easy, but it is. History is very nice and those who are lovers of magicians, monsters and heroic imaginations in general (in the context of Disney history of course) will appreciate it properly!
  • The Odyssey of a magician. The Ghost's nest is a sixty-two-page story, in which the very sympathetic appears Wizard Papernova. Just because it's multiple pages, there's a lot better flow. It's definitely not in direct choices, but it's not a bad story. Published in Mickey Mouse #2310, which I've never hit a few times in a stand in a booth.

Tales of Agent Duck

  • Secret Agent Donald Duck Excellent story, I've read it too many times, because I just love it! I have the first three issues and volume #34 of the Great serials, also published. What can I say? This is the first story (if not my memory cheats) of the universe The Agent Duck.. The atmosphere excellent, reminds completely 007, full of twists, conspiracies, well written characters.
    The plan (which concerns us here) is also very busy. It seems that the contributors wanted a good job and that’s why they dropped a lot of work hours. I advise you to buy the tom, which – right now – is sold everywhere. He's done the fourth part, published on Mickey Mouse. #2289But of course, you have to read the whole story. You'll find her in Mickey Mouse issues. #2286–#2289 and the Big serials #34.
  • Delete Memory a self-contained story, apparently inferior to that which preceded it, that which will follow and -surely - less than the following. It has also been included in the Great Serials #34So buy it, you certainly won't waste your time, but it's not the best option. Also published in Mickey Mouse #2314.
  • Mission to Earth's core In fact, we have a storyteller, who at first reading can be confused but certainly from the top of Agent Duck! To give you understanding, in a frame a hero arrives – almost – to murder (I say more, buy volume #35 of the Great serials). He's only designed the third part, but you must of course read the whole story. Published in Mickey Mouse #2299–#2302, as well as the Great Serials #35.
  • Hunters and game hunters It's an amazing story, which once again brings NN up against intelligence. The end is very strange, as it seems to continue, since we do not get clear answers about the identity of the mysterious evil. It has only designed the first part (which, as far as I am concerned, is the best design). Published in Mickey Mouse #2321– #2324, but also in the Great Serial #35.
  • The triumph of love It's a small story by Agent Duck, clearly less powerful than the previous one, but it's still part of Agent Duck's Universe. Published in Mickey Mouse #2410
  • The Olympus Cube One of my favorite stories! It consists of four parts and has been published in four issues by Terzopoulos. Just a wonderful story. The fact that it is not directly linked to the Z organization adds extra points, as the stories concerning this organization bore me somewhat.
    It's the last story of the beloved agent published by Terzopoulos. D’ippolito has only done the third part. Published in Mickey Mouse issues #2451–#2454. Unfortunately, while Terzopoulos published regularly stories of the ΝΝ, Kathimerini gives them to us with the dropper now (and not only now that they have decreased slowly, but since the beginning, 2014).

D’ippolito participated – as we can see – in the most important stories of Agent Duck’s universe. I advise you to take one of them to him, especially the first. Meanwhile, they have such good flow and script, I think non-Disneics will like it.

In the journals of Kathimerini

  • World’s Lucky Rappi is a story, which I have not read, but according to the inducts, is one of his best at a grade of 7.2/10. Only for this it is worth taking a look. In Greek, you will find it in Mickey Mouse #19.
  • In deep lethargy This is certainly a very successful story. While it has no magicians, agents and space... ducks, it is interesting, funny in several places and published in one issue along with another story, which (1) makes it easy to read (2) is one of the few stories that occupy (almost) an entire issue in the second period at least (3) because of this fact, I think it is ideal for signing. In our country, we saw the whole story at Mickey Mouse. #112.
  • Subway disappearance Another wonderful story with a strong element of mystery. I remember a pretty naive solution, but I'm sure you'll have fun reading it. It is highly recommended. In Greece published in Mickey Mouse #115.
  • In the Years of Pirates classic history case with time travel and meeting with pirates. I have distinguished this one since I read it. I don't know why, but I had a very positive impression! Objectively, I don't think it compares to the adventures that Terzopoulos published in the Big Cyril, but you will have fun reading it. You'll find her at Mickey Mouse. #2438 and Editor’s choice #7
  • The conquest of Donald a very simple story, but also very touching. Donald, tired of Daisy’s constant nagging, cools his attitude toward her. So Daisy's trying to win him back. Good story, with several gangs and overturning the classic pattern (Donald tries to make up for Daisy again). Such a story could not have not been entered into MinnyBut easier, he'll be at Mickey Mouse. #212.
  • Missile robbery Good story, very amusing, I wouldn't put it on the list if it wasn't for Cimino. It is suggested only if you have none of the above stories. It is located in Mickey Mouse #248.
  • Martha Without a Measure, interesting story, in which only Handfoot, Damaris and O'Hara appear, by known heroes. Posted very recently (8/04/2022) in Miki Mouse #408.
  • Confidence Issue Good story, well below the previous one, but you won't get through reading it. Posted in May that passed us to Mickey Mouse #415. If I were you, it wouldn't be my first choice, but if you have this issue, you can easily take it to him.
  • He has done eleven jobs for DPW, as I said before, which should be signed together (personal view). They were all published last year at Mickey Mouse ( ()Young Donald Duck/ Spookyzone if you remember), except This, published in 2018 Here. And I'm not suggesting it, as it's surrounded by others much better and certainly, «lost» within the many pages of the volume and from This, which as you can see, has not been published anywhere...
  • Memory Business I haven't read it, but the plan looks grand, and it has a 7/10 in the inducts. I suppose you'll read something good. Published in Mickey Mouse #107.

That's all I had to suggest. Now, Kathimerini can make a story out of Mickey Mouse now in September, although I don't see it possible. We'll see. Also, in This Mickey Mouse, published whole This the series of single-page stories, in design and scenario of D’ippolito. I have this issue and I have to say that people will not be lost not to take it to him, but I think he will be happy to know that this series has gone beyond Italy (as it is his creation).
