Casty - Casty (Andrea Castellan)

A few words about the creator who is considered the most important contemporary of Disney comic books. Andrea Castellan, better known by the pseudonym Casty, is an Italian comic book creator born April 23, 1967. He has worked as a screenwriter and designer of Mickey Mouse since 2003 and has worked in the past for both Lupo Alberto and Kattivik.
The stories His focus is on Mickey Mouse and his company, but lately he's also made history with the ducks with his own design. In Greece We are lucky because we have seen several of his stories (94 in fact). As for the characters he has created and enriched Mickey's universe, the most important are:
- the archaeologist Clara Loft, which he arrested with his help Giorgio Kavacano.

Signing Top 10
We have read in our country some very strong stories from Casty. However, because we can't talk about all we decided to make a dozen issues with some of his best stories about signing.
10. Something's in the dark.
This story I thought should be on top 10 for me because it's something different about Disney stories. She has dance elements, mystery and is somewhat darker in general which makes her interesting. It kind of sounds like a horror movie. That gives them a lot of points for me. One can find her at Mickey Mouse #160 II Period (crisis) Here.).
9. Atlantis Mines
Posted in COMIX #5 of Season II and is a continuation of «Colossus of Rhodes» And part of Castie's stories with the Atlantis Search. Atmospheric history that continues the mystery of Atlantis and its quest by Clara Loft.
8. The 7 Boglins
The first (smallest) part of the story is by Andrea Fachini while the second from Casty. Pretty clever script intended to restore one of Floyd Gottfredson's old villains, Miklos. Mickey's birthday ends in a fiasco since his friends' surprise with the 7 Boglins while successful will lead to misunderstandings and reversals. The story was published in COMIX #17 of Season II.
7. The World of the Future
If I remember correctly, this particular story is one of Casty's first long stories. In Mickey Mouse, Terzopoulos had been advertised as a mini series. Very nice story that brings Mickey up against Dante Damma! Another unruly evil from Gottfredson's stories with grand plans. The story has four parts and was published in Mickey Mouse #2269 – 2272.
6. The Lailapa of the Ages
History with time paradoxes in which we have the second appearance of time traveler Uma. Why has the world changed? What paradox has happened this time and who is responsible? A long 4-part story combining adventure, mystery, time travel but also gives nice messages about man and his story. Posted in Mickey Mouse #2449-2450 and in Mickey Mouse Editor’s Choice of Kathimerini.
5. Time Island
What should be the specific story about the summer, where the period came out and COMIX #11 Season II in which it was published. I would like to thank the rapporteur for his report. «Lost» version of Mickey Mouse in a sense. Mickey and his friends on a deserted island... I won't say anything else. Casty once again has twists and is still going through some ecological messages.
4. The Big Brother’s World
When I first read Castie's particular story, the distant 2013 I said he was «Don Rosa» of Mickey Mouse in issue 2431 of the magazine of the same name. What wonderful ecological messages go through, the importance of the food chain etc.In fact, the messages she had to pass in her own way make you think.
3. Dark World
Αναφορές σε ιστορίες του Ρομάνο Σκάρπα, η επαναφορά του Ατομίνο Μπιμπ υπό το πενάκι του Κάστυ, πρωτότυπη ιστορία σεναριακά και ο Μαύρος Πητ ως δυναμικός κακός; Τι άλλο θέλει κανείς από μια ιστορία με τον Μίκυ; Μου θύμισε πολύ τον Σκάρπα σε αυτή την ιστορία ο Κάστυ. Μπορεί κανείς να τη διαβάσει στο ΚΟΜΙΞ #3 Β΄Περιόδου. Εκπληκτικό και το εξώφυλλο του τεύχους.
2. All that's going to happen yesterday
Για αυτή εδώ την ιστορία έχω μιλήσει σε Article αναλυτικά. Άψογη συνεργασία Κάστυ και Μπονηφάττι, με τρομερά background και σχέδιο γενικότερα και από τις 2 πλευρές. Την θεωρώ την καλύτερη επετειακή ιστορία με τον Μίκυ διότι τα είχε όλα. Δημοσιεύτηκε στο Μίκυ Μάους #231 Β΄ Περίοδος. Η ιστορία όχι μόνο είχε και την ειδική αφίσα εξώφυλλο που έχουμε βάλει εδώ αλλά το ελληνικό επιτελείο την πρόσεξε αρκετά διότι είχαμε και ωραία δουλειά σχετικά με την γραμματοσειρά.
1. The Ice Empire
Η καλύτερη ιστορία ιστορία του Κάστυ για μένα. Στα ελληνικά τεύχη #183-185 του Μίκυ Μάους Β΄ Περιόδου έχει γίνει απίστευτη δουλειά. Υπάρχει υλικό μεταφρασμένο από Topolino που εξηγεί την ιστορία, δίνει ενδιαφέρουσες πληροφορίες αλλά και συνέντευξη του ίδιου του Κάστυ. Για μένα τα καλύτερα τεύχη της Καθημερινής. Από την άλλη ιστορία μου θυμίζει ιστορίες των Ντακ σχετικές με την αναζήτηση αρχαίων πολιτισμών.
Overview & Honorable Mentions
Γενικά είχαμε πολλές επιλογές αλλά αυτά προσωπικά προτείνω. Θα μπορούσαμε να πούμε ότι και τα παρακάτω είναι μερικές πολύ ωραίες επιλογές:

Κλείνοντας θα ήθελα να πω ότι χαίρομαι που έχουμε δει τόσες ιστορίες του δημιουργού στη χώρα μας και ελπίζω να συνεχίσουμε να τις διαβάζουμε και στο μέλλον.
Φτιάχνοντας την παρούσα λίστα θυμήθηκα πόσο πολύ χαιρόμουν με κάθε μια από αυτές τις ιστορίες όταν τις διάβασα για πρώτη φορά και πόσο ξεχωριστή είναι η κάθε μια.
