Yesterday August 18, 2019 he left his last breath at 91 years one of the oldest Italian Disney designers, Giulio Chierchini. His partnership with Topolino lasted 66 long years! He started his Disney career (then under her management Mondadori) together with the Giovanni Battista Carpi in 1953. He was the blacksmith of Carpi's designs at first until he himself some years later to begin his entire stories.

His first story with Carpi was Paperino e il suo fantasma, the first of him Paperino e il grande Barunz and has written parodies such as Donald's Hell. In time and due to his age he gradually reduced the number of stories he was making for Topolino. Yet he was active until 2019! His last full story, Nonna Papera e il pieno... napoto , published in Topolino #3294 and last single page who did for the magazine and had them Marrow wolves in issue #3302.

In Greece we have read his stories in magazines such as Mickey Mouse and Classical and in special publications such as Scrooge's Economy. According to INDUCKS they have been issued in Greek only 49 stories of. In particular, our country recently published its history The Mystery of Decara The second volume of Scrooge's Economy a few weeks ago.

Have a good trip to a duck and rat designer who offered so many stories!

RIP
