COMIX #24 republished by the sea history of Don Rosa, "Thesaurus in the Glass". The cover more impressive than that of COMIX 75 of the First Period but the structure of the issue is like that of previous issues of 2016.
The twenty-fourth COMIX has total, 7 stories. Let's go take a look at them.
The first story "Thesaurus in the Glass" It has 20 pages.
Summary:
Scrooge and his nephews are looking for a treasure in the Florida seas.
Rosa's plan is beautiful and history has some impressive frame. But I think that in connection with Barks' sea stories he's a little behind in some things like action and danger. Otherwise it is a very beautiful story with Scrooge and his nephews discovering a very important map. Waterscapes of the sea are beautifully designed.
For the above, I'll add one. 9-9,5/10.
The second story is "Conney and Blyde".
Summary:
Donald and Daisy arrive in an isolated city following Donald's mistake and due to their resemblance to a couple of robbers, they are arrested by its inhabitants.
Let's start with the secondary stories of the issue. History from Vikar's pen which was very modest script while the design was its strongest point. Didn't the villagers see that Donald and Daisy don't look particularly like the bandits couple? It seemed very strange to me or that Donald and Daisy trusted the bandits... In general, we have the standard ten pages we'll forget after a week.
We'll use it. 6/10.
The third story is Escape From Adventure.
Summary:
Minnie is determined to ban Mickey from any new adventure.
So we've reached Noel Van Horne's story. The plan is very modest while the script is pointless and generally fits for Super Mickey... Well, that story isn't about COMIX. Minnie's not well designed and acting like a little girl. Still history could come out in fewer pages. What's wrong with Van Horne? But what I do know is that we're losing great stories with Mickey.
We'll use it. 4/10.
The fourth story is "The Crime Trade Union".
Summary:
Scrooge manages in disguise to become president of the crime union in order to neutralize the outlaws of Limnoupoli.
The third best story the issue had. Smart script and a pretty good plan, but I didn't like a few things. Like the Crime syndicate is 5-6 people. The underworld of Limnoupoli had to consist of much more. I generally liked the idea that Scrooge would sneak into the underworld to learn the plans of the bandits. I found it kind of original. Another two points I liked in history was how Scrooge took the Marrowlyns out of battle but also on the last page the first big frame that reminds the scene of Barks' story "The Horror of the Mounds".
So, 6,5/10.
The third story is "Guard Treasure".
Summary:
Scrooge and Donald reveal a map according to which in Mr. Jones' garden there is a treasure.
History from Mau Hymans... He came in to fill the issue and it's meaningless. As for the plan, one is good and one is not. As with Noel Van Horn, the Staff is passing us and the five-pages of Hymans... if we don't read their stories, we'll get hurt.
One, 5,5/10 We'll put it on.
The sixth story is "Lost in the Desert".
Summary:
Donald and his nephews are looking for Lufa in the desert, believing he's lost there.
Well, I don't know what father and son have caught, but his stories go together... Along with his son the story of Van Horn is one of the worst of the issue! The plan unlike his son is quite good but the story script was nonexistent! Maybe more meaningless ten pages I've ever read! It could be in fewer pages, but there was no good gang or anything that would make you remember the story.
One 4,5/10 I think it's only because of the plan.
Seventh story is "Identity Change".
Summary:
Magica manages to take Scrooge's body and give Scrooge her own body with an identity exchange bomb.
Πολύ καλό σενάριο αλλά το σχέδιο και ο χρωματισμός είναι το μεγαλύτερο μειονέκτημα της ιστορίας. Το σχέδιο είναι σχετικά καλό ενώ θα μπορούσε να είναι καλύτερο. Ειδικά ο σχεδιασμός της Μάτζικα μερικές φορές… Το σενάριο παρουσιάστηκε με έξυπνο τρόπο. Η Μάτζικα και ο Σκρουτζ αλλάζουν ταυτότητες και μου άρεσε πολύ η σκηνή μάχης με Σκρουτζ (Μάτζικα) και Μάτζικα (Σκρουτζ) στο Βεζούβιο. Χρησιμοποιήθηκε και το μαγικό οπλοστάσιο της μάγισσας με αποτέλεσμα να δειχθεί ότι το σπίτι της είναι επικίνδυνο. Η δεύτερη καλύτερη του τεύχους και την ευχαριστήθηκα. Καιρό είχαμε να δούμε μια πολύ καλή συνοδευτική για την οποία κακώς και δεν βάλανε ένα άρθρο! Έπρεπε να υπάρχει άρθρο και θα μπορούσαν να πουν και για την ιστορία του Μπαρκς “Για μια παλιά δεκάρα” στην οποία η Μάτζικα παίρνει τη μορφή του Σκρουτζ.
One 7,5/10 So for the story!
Το ΚΟΜΙΞ #24 ήταν το καλύτερο από άποψη συνοδευτικών ιστοριών μέχρι στιγμής (οι 2 που είπαμε) που είδαμε φέτος από τα τεύχη Ρόσα… Θα τονίσω πάλι ότι πολύ αρνητικό που έχουν κοπεί τα άρθρα. Έχουμε μόνο ένα για την ιστορία του Ρόσα… Καλό θα ήταν να υπάρχουν πολλά διότι χωρίς αυτά το περιοδικό χάνει την ταυτότητα του. Θα βάλουμε για τα παραπάνω 6,5/10 as an issue. Σχετικά καλό τεύχος μαζί με 2 αρκετά καλές συνοδευτικές (και τις υπόλοιπες χάλια) και την ιστορία του Ρόσα. Φανταστείτε εάν έβαζαν ιστορίες του Φαντομίας ή γενικά πολυσέλιδες πόσο καλύτερο θα ήταν ένα τεύχος με ανατύπωση. Και θα ήμασταν όλοι ευχαριστημένοι.
In the new issue of COMIX we will see again (για 7 φορά!) reprint history of Rosa "Back to Xanadu" ως κύρια ιστορία 30 σελίδων. Η ιστορία αυτή έχει μπει παλιά στο ΚΟΜΙΞ 78 το 1994 και το 2009 στη COMIX Library 2. It's on Friday. 29 Ιουλίου. Για τις υπόλοιπες ιστορίες του τεύχους δεν ξέρουμε κάτι.
Το εξώφυλλο του ΚΟΜΙΞ #25 οφείλω να πω ότι είναι πολύ εντυπωσιακό (μαζί με το μαύρο πλαίσιο) και θα ταίριαζε καλύτερα σε τόμο.
Σύμφωνα με το ημερολόγιο η αφίσα για το μήνα Αύγουστο (ΚΟΜΙΞ 26) είναι αφιερωμένη στην ιστορία "The Wendigo War" published in ΚΟΜΙΞ 143 The 2000 and COMIX 3 Library The 2009.
Αναρωτιέμαι πόσο καιρό ακόμα θα κάνουμε να δούμε μια ιστορία της προκοπής με τον Μίκυ στο ΚΟΜΙΞ… Και ας μην είναι από Κάστυ. Οι Βαν Χορν όχι μόνο είναι για το Σουπερ Μίκυ αλλά μου θυμίζουν και τις κακές εποχές του ΚΟΜΙΞ επί Τερζόπουλου (κακά τεύχη μετά το 250 και μπορεί λίγο πιο πριν) με τις χαμηλού επιπέδου ιστορίες. Ακόμα οι ιστορίες με τον Φαντομία άραγε πότε θα μπουν; Τις ξεχάσαν; Έστω και ως συνοδευτικές. Είναι τραγικό πάντως να υπάρχουν καλές ιστορίες και να μην τις βάζουν και να τις φυλάνε. Αλλά εδώ θα μου πείτε ότι μέχρι και τα άρθρα πλέον έχουν μειωθεί σε ένα για την ιστορία του Ρόσα. Δεν λέω υπάρχουν ιστορίες που δεν αξίζουν άρθρο αλλά εδώ είχαμε 1-2 που άξιζαν να έχουν!
Εν τέλει, το ΚΟΜΙΞ συνεχίζει το έτος Ρόσα με το εικοστό τέταρτο τεύχος να ανεβαίνει λίγο. Μικρή βελτίωση στο ΚΟΜΙΞ 24 στις συνοδευτικές ιστορίες (2 καλές) αλλά αυτό δεν αρκεί δυστυχώς και πάλι. Το καλύτερο θα ήταν να έχουμε και μια άλλη πολυσέλιδη με την ανατύπωση ή οι ανατυπώσεις να μην έμπαιναν συνεχόμενα έτσι ώστε να βλέπαμε και ιστορίες άλλων δημιουργών. Είναι κουραστικό να είναι ο ίδιος δημιουργός όλη την ώρα και εδώ πρόκειται και για ανατύπωση.
