An adventure inspired by the classic film
The new story of Giorgio Kavacano «The Duck Without Past» It is soon released in Finland in book style.
According to the official page The Finnish Disney magazine Aku Ankka the idea for comic book began in the spring of 2015 when reporter Kirsi Ahonen interviewed Giorgio Kavacano. Kavacano told him it would be wonderful to design a classic history of the film world.
In this case, Finnish magazine editor and Finnish duck designer Cary Corhonen They worked together to think of which Finnish film would fit to be transferred as a story with our favorite papal characters. The film finally prevailed Man Without Past (The Man Without a Past).
Corhonen immediately began work and after a year Cavatsano had the storyboard ready.
Cavatsano, however, is the Disney designer who has written stories that are metaphors of comic films with our favorite ducks and mice such as:
- Casablanca (COMIX #205)
- La Strada (COMIX #172),
- The true story of a thousand nine hundred (Micky Mouse #2290)
In short, I think his choice as a history designer is excellent. He has experience in movie transfers in comic books. Generally as many stories as I've read from the designer, I like them very much.
There are several scenes in the comic that mimic faithful scenes of the film itself. (as shown in the picture below and according to the Aku Ankka page)
But I like that the transfer of Kavacano has included the cast of ducks and mice. Of course, Donald and Daisy have the lead roles. The plan looks good, too, from what Kavacano used to us in his stories.
Only on the cover is it interesting to read the story and I hope to see it in our country or as a tomaki or in a magazine.
Probably in Donald it would fit or even in COMIX where we have previously seen several stories of the creator on this genre. Either way, I wish we could see her in the country sometime.
