Apparently Kathimerini caught up with Dark Horse and took out Hamlet's parody in Greek. Let's see what we thought.
Prince Donhamlet (64 pages)
- Project: Paolo De Lorenzi– Screenplay: Giorgio Salati
Paolo's cover is very nice. It matches exactly the story. 9/10
Unseen kings, enemies lurking in darkness, crown usurpers and something rotten... All in the kingdom of Denmark.
It's a story I've waited long enough to read. First of all, I will refer to the fact that the plan is better than I expected. There are some very beautiful frames inside the castle but the characters are all well designed. In general, the design and coloring that have been done show that this is a more special story rather than the ones they put in Topolino every week. The roles given by the screenwriter to each character by the universe of ducks They matched a lot. In fact, something else that has acted positively is that this parody is closer to the original than the respective parody The Carpi that we had once read in Classical (also a very nice story). I would also describe the way the screenwriter managed to bypass the killing that is being done and use the new element in such a way that the story closes nicely.
The rotation and narration made by your nephews brought out the feeling of reading an old story or legend from an old book. The plot twist I would say has the end surprised me positively as it connects legend and reality in a clever way as I said before. The last frame is so beautiful, but I think it's more confusing what's actually going on. In general, I would say that this is a full-blown multi-page story that I would like to read again. It's such stories that make you look for information about the original works. And that's why I love parodies.
