Parody by Paolo Mottura at Mickey Mouse!
On the Road (60 pages)
- Project: Paolo Mottura – Screenplay: Fausto Vitaliano
The cover of Mottura is really wonderful. And the plan 10/10
An unusual and exciting story starring Mickey and Goofy, inspired by Jack Kerouac's famous novel of the same name, one of the masterpieces of 20th century world literature...
If you remember, I had this particular story on 10 Italians I would like to see in Greece. He finally came in after a while when I made the article! But let's start talking about the story. I'm gonna start with the plan where once again I'm gonna say that Mottura is very talented and he's planning great. I didn't find a flaw and the story had some very beautiful and atmospheric frame. Coloring could be a little better for me. Not that I didn't like it, but since the story is more special since it's a parody, it would be better if I thought a coloring similar to that of the cover.

Now in terms of script. I'll say I liked the flow though at some points it was a little slow. Well, I miss something from the script. I don't know what, but as I read the story in some places, I felt something was missing. However, I must say that the last three pages were touching. The story goes through very nice messages which are travel and friendship. More important is the journey to get somewhere and then the destination. You'll have a hard time traveling, but with good friends you'll be able to handle it. I really liked this because here, even though it's a travesty, it shows us how strong Mickey and Goofy's friendship is. In the end they start for a new journey and a new adventure. Mickey of history took his lesson and filled the gap he felt.
History covers half Mickey Mouse! He has a nice article at first and it's what Topolino had. For me, it's worth this story. It's got 60 pages. In general, I liked it very much and to say that I really like this whole Topolino project with parodies. It's something smart and fresh. It also escapes the formal contexts. Dean that Mickey meets at the beginning of the story is a tribute (his form) to Kerouac himself. The full name of the character is Dean Moriarty.Dean Moriarty is one of the main characters in Jack Kerouac's book. So we also pay tribute to the author of the original play. And that was nice and smart. Mickey Mouse goes on strong.
Score: 9.5/10!
