A small flashback

The paper The Daily purchased all rights of Disney magazines in Greece, in the summer of 2014. So, after Mickey Mouse, the Donald, the Phantom, the Super Mickey and Large Disney Library, it's Comix's turn to re-release...
The magazine rarely continued to entertain dozens of readers throughout Greece.

The Invisible Threat

With the re-release of COMIX, the existence of the reader column began again. Christos Terzopoulos mentioned in his epilogue KOMIX 303 that KOMIX magazine reached the top of Disney publications among other countries, thanks to the labels and the moaning of readers, who made it all better. In 2016 the period of reprints of Rossa's stories begins, and most fans are disappointed and complaining. But Kathimerini doesn't change tactics. He moans mouths and doesn't answer the emails of the nag readers.

Indicatively on August 23, 2016 KOMIX Wiki asked her Facebook friends if they had emailed Kathimerini for the magazine and if they responded. Most friends said they were denied and even if they responded to some messages were not affected at all. The general quality of stories falls and, worst of all, the quality of their relationship with the reader makes a vertical fall. He ends up publishing only one question and one answer to each new issue...

A New Hope

I was one of the many people who sent an email. On 9 June I sent them a message entitled Donald’s Homemade Christmas And I was talking to them about a story that I discovered in inducts and found very interesting. I specifically told them:

In 2012 a very interesting story came out in a Byron Erickson script and in a Andrea Ferraris Plan. This story differs from others because many McDuck members make a reappearance, such as Scrooge's sisters and parents. Unfortunately, it has not been published in any language I can read. For example English, Greek. Are you planning on publishing it in the near future? Because if you publish it, I would consider it, not only me but many old comic book fans, a very interesting renewal and redirection of the magazine.

It's been a long time, and I'm disappointed that they won't answer me. Six months later I finally received an answer. I was surprised!

Without the title or code, I can't know what story you're referring to.

You probably refer to the story Donald’s Homemade Christmas

I answered as quickly as I could.

Hello!
I'm glad to receive your answer.

And of course I mean the story Donald’s Homemade Christmas (I refer to the name of the story and the title of the message), with code (inducks): D 2012-058.
And on the same day I received an answer again.
I'm sorry, but in all these messages, I didn't see it...

Three possibilities are created. Or they had a lot of messages and didn't answer. Or they had protocol that it would take six months to answer an email - if you send it today don't worry it will be answered in June again-. Or they had forgotten their password on the Disney editor account and could not open emails. But they are unjustified that so long they have not answered. Nevertheless, they finally responded, and then answered twice and immediately gives me some hope that the previous period is over and on «ashes», as «new palm»You're reborn.

The next ideas I've come up with are that we'll see, in my opinion, some more interesting stories, as the Disney editor leaves it open. The story Donald’s Homemade Christmas, which I mentioned in the email, is based on the classic stories of Don Rosa, and the work Life & The State of Scrooge McDuck, So it would be very interesting to see at COMIX. Let's not forget that her screenwriter, Byron Erickson, was Don Rosa's editor and has seen the stories of the O.V.U.S. firsthand and has made several corrections to Rosa's script, which betrays us for an amazing story.

While the third thing I noticed was the style of the text. It wasn't the typical but a more relaxed one. It contains no dots at all while the second answer begins without a capital letter. I don't know if it was intentional or not. Maybe they're trying to get close to the reader's style. Maybe this approach will work out.

Have you received any last response from the Disney editor? Do you think the Greek Disney editions have finally taken uphill?
